Elon found the fun in de-funding the BBC
If you still think the BBC should be funded through a state-imposed licence fee which is used to justify the harassment of innocent people, see this
excruciating extract from an interview between a BBC journalist and Elon Musk:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1646337266145705984
Contrast this with the BBC write-up of the same interview:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-65248196
So in summary:
The BBC interviewer lies, gets caught out, can't even comprehend that not
everyone buys into the BBC's narrative, then the BBC write a completely
misrepresentative piece which:
- Completely misses out the parts of this part of the interview because it makes them look stupid
- Adds a bunch of editorial notes to imply that the totally accurate "government-funded media" label is some sort of "issue" which needs correction
I thought the BBC were meant to be proud of "the unique way the BBC is funded".
Surely they have nothing to hide?
